Mitch is from the hills of Tennessee and discovered rugby as a freshman at Tennessee Tech University. He played at TTU for 5 seasons. He was selected for the Midsouth Select team and then served as assistant coach for another two seasons. Mitch went on to play for Nashville for three years and was a member of the Mid-South men's touring side in 1999. He then moved to Atlanta and played for High Country for 10 years.

Mitch holds a USA Rugby Referee certification, a USA Rugby Level 1 coaching certification, and is in his 6th season coaching with Golden Eagle Rugby.

Coach Tyler was born and raised in Atlanta and started playing rugby at Indiana University while studying music and business. Now in his second season of coaching Golden Eagle Rugby, Coach Tyler brings over two decades experience coaching youth sports including baseball, basketball, soccer, football, and rugby. He believes strongly in the leadership, respect, discipline and sense of purpose that sports instills. Coach Tyler brings with him a passion not only for the game but also developing players. This year he will focus his expertise on developing the Golden Eagles U14 Team.
